SUMMARY:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client looking for a skilled and driven Mid/Senior Electrical Engineer to join their E,C&I team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to work on modular process plant projects, contributing to high-quality design, commissioning, and delivery within a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
As a Mid/Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design, procurement, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems for modular process plants. Your responsibilities will include designing electrical panels such as MCCs, MCPs, JBs, RIO and PLC panels, as well as selecting and specifying instrumentation for process applications.

You will manage procurement of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E,C&I) equipment, liaise with panel building workshops to ensure design integrity and quality, and conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). In addition, you will develop installation bills of quantities (BOQs) from 3D models and support or lead commissioning activities, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.

Education:

BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in the E,C&I industry
Strong expertise in electrical panel design (MCC, MCP, JB, RIO, and PLC panels)
Experience in instrumentation selection and specification for process plants
Proven experience in commissioning within process plant environments
Experience with procurement processes for E,C&I equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and production teams

Advantageous:

Experience with CAD tools
Familiarity with Endress & Hauser selection tools
Knowledge of Siemens switchgear systems
