Electrical Supervisor (Nuclear Power Plant)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an Outage Electrical Supervisor for a shutdown for a nuclear plant in the Middle East. Previous power plant experience is non-negotiable.

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and the highest level of supervisory skills and knowledge to maintenance scopes of work activities and complex troubleshooting, engineering evaluations, operability determinations, operational decision-making issues, and temporary modifications during the planning, execution, and post-closeout phases of Electrical inspection and overhaul activities at a Power Plant.

POSITION INFO:
The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, operating policies, nuclear safety standards, industrial safety requirements, and environmental protection standards while supporting overall business performance objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, and outage activities. Lead and manage teams of electrical technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules. Ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards, procedures, and quality requirements. Monitor work execution and provide technical guidance and support to site personnel. Support outage planning, execution, and reporting activities. Liaise with client representatives, project management, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is performed in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Trade Test (Diploma preferable) Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience Experience in power plants is mandatory Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role leading maintenance or outage teams. Strong technical expertise in electrical maintenance, testing, and fault-finding activities. Knowledge and experience of: Feedwater (FW) Systems, Cooling Water (CW) Systems, Reactor Coolant Systems (RCS), Air Operated Valves (AOV), Motor Operated Valves (MOV)
