Electrical and Electronic Technician
Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
R 55 000 CTC Per Month

A well-established company in the packaging manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronic Technician to join their maintenance team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Trade Test: Electrician
N6 or T4 Qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Siemens and Lenze PLCs and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
Experience with PLC programming, diagnostics, and fault finding
Proven experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities within automated production environments
Knowledge of electrical control circuits and automation systems
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Ability to read and update electrical drawings and schematics
Experience with electronic component-level repairs on drives and control systems will be advantageous
Previous experience working on industrial production machinery
Experience within packaging, paper bag manufacturing, or printing machinery will be advantageous
Siemens Drives and PLC training/certification will be beneficial
