SUMMARY:
A leading client in the power infrastructure and energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines to join their engineering team based in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for high-voltage transmission line projects.
Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with regulatory standards and project specifications.
Provide technical support to construction teams during project implementation.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance in electrical installations.
Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project delivery.

Minimum Requirements

MTech / BTech in Electrical Engineering or higher
Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
Minimum 3 transmission line projects designed
Experience working with high-voltage transmission lines.
