A technology company in Johannesburg is looking for an Electronic Engineer.

POSITION INFO:
We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Electronic Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge electronic systems and products.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on the design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits and systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits.
Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
Develop and test prototypes and ensure that designs meet the required standards.
Work with firmware/software teams to integrate electronics with embedded systems.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging on electronic hardware.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., CE, and FCC).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
Proficiency in PCB design tools and simulation software.
Solid understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
