SUMMARY:
A leading mining technology and automation company is seeking an experienced Electronic Project Engineer to design, develop, and implement smart mining systems. The successful candidate will work on advanced solutions involving automation, sensors, IoT, and control systems to improve mining safety, productivity, and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
This role combines electronic engineering, project management, and digital mining innovation.

âï¸ Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of smart mining electronic systems
Manage full project lifecycle: Concept → design → implementation → commissioning
Develop and integrate:
- Sensors and instrumentation systems
- Embedded systems and control units
- Communication networks (e.g., CANbus, Modbus, and ethernet)
Oversee the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of systems
Ensure compliance with mining safety standards and regulations
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (software, mechanical, and automation)
Provide technical support on-site and remotely
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications

ð Minimum Requirements:

BEng/BSc in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
3–7+ years’ experience in:
- Electronic system design
- Mining, automation, or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of:
- PCB design, analogue & digital electronics
- Embedded systems / microcontrollers
- Control systems and instrumentation
Experience with CAD/EDA tools (e.g., Altium and OrCAD)
