SUMMARY:
Remote work available! Gain experience working within a well-established, medium size corporate that presents the opportunity to report directly to the CFO, manage a small team and collaborate with industry experts.

POSITION INFO:

Review and manage debtor and creditor control

Preparation of group invoices

Manage financial accountants to ensure accurate and complete financial records

Review accounting records & monthly reconciliations

Maintain fixed asset register

Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close

Preparing monthly financial management reports for subsidiaries and group (consolidation)

Preparing and managing of annual budgets and cashflows

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Manage Monthly payroll

Processing payments

Monthly statutory, bi-annual, and annual returns (e.g VAT, EMP201, UIF, provisional tax returns, etc.)

Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process

Reviewing annual financial statements to ensure they comply International Financial Reporting Standards and Companies Act requirements

Tax calculations

Payroll submissions

Preparation of BEE schedules and collating supporting documents

Ensure statutory compliance

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in the commercial industry

Experience managing a small finance team

Financial Services / Investment industry experience advantageous

Qualification:

Completed SAICA Articles

BCom Accounting or similar
