Energy Engineering Manager (Utilities & Energy)

SUMMARY:
My client in the heavy engineering manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Energy Engineer (Utilities & Energy) to join their operation.

POSITION INFO:
Must have completed B.Eng. / BSc Electrical Engineering coupled with GCC (Government Certificate of Competency ) or Certification in Energy Management.

You will be required to:

• Monitor and report on site energy consumption- manage current oxygen & nitrogen contracts, identify energy saving opportunities & plans to achieve Group Sustainability Goals
• Implementing approved projects for both Gas and Electricity applications
• Managing the High Tension and Total Motor Management teams in order to optimise availability and efficiency
• Liaise with Government and other regulatory bodies such as NERSA and the Department of Energy and Treasury
• Represent the company on forums such as the EIUG, Gas User Group and The Industry Task Team for Climate Change.
