Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, located in the Rustenburg, North West area, has an opportunity available for an Engineer.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or National Diploma
• 6 Years relevant experience in the mining industry
• 2 Years managerial experience
• Opencast as well as Underground (Trackless/Bord and Pillar)
• Government Certificate of Competency GCC (Mines and Works)
• Professional registration with ECSA

KPAs:

• Maintenance Support
• Solve problems and implement solutions
• Perform planned job observations
• Document and review the plant maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan 
• Ensure strict adherence to the relevant engineering standards and specifications
• Follow up warranty claims on component failures on high criticality equipment
• Prepare Maintenance budget per equipment
• Consolidate Maintenance budget per plant
