POSITION INFO:

A leading aerospace technology company is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be involved in the design and development of airborne system-level solutions such as ISR aircraft, UAS, and optionally piloted systems (OPS). This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performance team developing mission-critical and safety-critical systems for advanced aerospace applications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with systems engineers to develop system-level requirements, designs, and implementation strategies.
Design and document comprehensive test procedures and oversee execution.
Develop custom tools to streamline and improve systems engineering processes.
Evaluate and prototype commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components for system integration.
Participate in system-level design, verification, and client/integrator support (on-site when required).
Manage a system integration facility for comprehensive testing and validation.
Deliver full project lifecycle outputs including design, testing, and verification artefacts.
Adhere to and implement formal systems engineering methodologies and processes.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
2–5 years of relevant industry or postgraduate experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Logical, independent thinker with the ability to collaborate on large-scale projects.
Master’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
