Engineer in Training (EIT)

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Engineering Graduate to join a dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience in electrical, automation, and mechatronic systems within a manufacturing environment. The role is based in the South of Durban.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the engineering team by performing technical tasks
• Providing technical support in electrical, automation, and mechatronic systems
• Assisting with engineering projects related to electrical installations, control systems, and automation
• Collecting, monitoring, and analysing production and equipment performance data
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and performance summaries
• Participating in troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives for electrical and automated machinery

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric
• BTech / Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum academic average of 65% and above in their qualification
• Strong interest in electrical systems, automation, and manufacturing environments
• Computer literacy will be advantageous
