JOB SUMMARY:
Our international client in the Manufacturing sector seeks to appoint an Engineering Manager to:

Evaluate and approves external projects and engineering resources
Manage the contracts services delivered by external plant and equipment manufacturing suppliers, contractors and associated professional services
Manages the safe deployment and commissioning of such plant and equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

BSc or B Tech Degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
- 6 – 8 years of project management experience, as a Project Manager or a team lead.
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) would be advantageous
- Extensive knowledge of project management in a multi-disciplinary environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience in developing and implementing engineering standards and
the technologies used in the explosives industry
- Knowledge and understanding of managing performance within a project environment
- Sound knowledge and understanding of contract management, equipment optimisation
programmes and hazard control
- Proficient in:
- Project task estimation, resource scheduling, risk management, conflict management
- Financial management including business case completion
- Evaluation of impact to total cost of ownership for multiple simultaneous, complex projects
