Engineering Project Manager Mining Systems

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Project Manager – Mining Systems to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects focused on mining technologies and systems. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinate project activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

POSITION INFO:
This role requires a strong engineering background combined with excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution skills. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve mining productivity, automation, and operational safety. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of engineering projects for mining systems and technologies. Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineers. Manage project scope, timelines, costs, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes. Act as the primary technical and commercial interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests. Ensure compliance with company engineering processes, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and customers. Support product development, system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activities. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and engineering practices. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering project management. Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through deployment. Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and engineering lifecycle management. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budgeting and cost control. Please send your cv to
