SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering and Construction industry is seeking to employ am Environmental Manager to join their team. Please note this is a fixed-term contract.
Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement environmental management plans and monitoring systems.
Conduct environmental audits, risk assessments, and impact studies.
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and standards.
Promote sustainable development and conservation practices.
Liaise with government departments, consultants, and project teams on compliance matters.

Experience & Qualification

BSc/Honours/Masters in Conservation and Ecology or equivalent environmental qualification.
National Senior Certificate (Matric).
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in environmental management.
Strong knowledge of NEMA, ISO 14001, and other environmental frameworks.
Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
