Salary: R600 000 per annum max

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Equity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably within a wealth management firm, brokerage, or asset management company. CFA levels preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth equity research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators.
Develop and present detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
Provide actionable investment recommendations to portfolio managers and clients.
Stay abreast of industry news and developments, providing timely updates to the team.
Assist in the preparation of investment reports and presentations.
Collaborate with other analysts and team members to support overall investment strategies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Equity Analyst or in a similar role within a wealth management firm, broker, or asset management company.
Progress towards CFA certification (Level 1 or higher preferred).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Excellent research and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
