The Error Correction Specialist will be responsible for calculating the financial impact of transactional errors, assessing profit and loss implications, and implementing corrective actions across a Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP) platform.
Working within a specialist operations team, the successful candidate will investigate discrepancies, support data integrity initiatives, perform reconciliations, participate in testing activities, and ensure investment-related errors are resolved accurately and efficiently. This role requires a solid understanding of LISP products, local and offshore fund trading, and the tax implications associated with investment products.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Accurately calculate the financial impact and cost of operational and transactional errors. Process and implement error corrections across investment products and transactions. Investigate discrepancies relating to investments, withdrawals, switches, annuity payments and debit orders. Perform ad hoc profit and loss calculations as required. Communicate findings, resolutions, and status updates to relevant stakeholders. Participate in system and user acceptance testing to validate fixes and enhancements. Log and track defects and issues through testing platforms. Investigate and resolve data reconciliation and integration issues. Perform data integrity testing and correction activities. Assist with tax data testing and reporting requirements. Support bulk data updates and fee upload processes. Process death deemed disposals and ad hoc tax certificate requests. Provide support to operational teams when required. Job Experience and Skills Required: Minimum 3 years' experience within an investment, wealth management, or financial planning environment. Previous Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP) experience is essential. Strong understanding of investment products offered on a LISP platform. Knowledge of local and offshore fund trading processes. Proven experience calculating profit and loss impacts accurately. Understanding of tax implications relating to investment products. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Ability to learn and understand financial software and systems quickly.
