POSITION INFO:

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate estimates.
Calculate quantities, costs, and resources required for civil engineering projects.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain quotations and validate costs.
Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
Conduct risk assessments and account for potential contingencies in estimates.
Assist in contract negotiations by providing accurate cost information.
Maintain a database of historical costs, rates, and supplier information.
Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
Collaborate with project managers and contracts teams to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines.
Provide input to project planning and scheduling processes based on cost considerations.
