Our client, a well-established organization committed to excellence in the heavy steel industry, offers an engaging contract opportunity for driven professionals. Duties: Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for heavy steel projects Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work Assist in tender documentation and bid preparations Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed Requirements: 5 to 10 years of experience in estimating, specifically within heavy steel environments Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work on-site and meet deadlines Familiarity with the following: Construction and manufacturing industry standards Estimating software and project management tools What We'll Give You: Competitive salary ranging from R35,000 to R50,000 per month (Cost to Company) A contract position within a reputable organization Opportunities to work on impactful projects in a collaborative team setting If you are ready to bring your estimating expertise to a company that values precision and professionalism, we invite you to apply and become part of a team dedicated to excellence.
