SUMMARY:
Role Purpose: To provide accurate and competitive pricing for sea and air freight contra consolidations, ensuring profitability, compliance, and client satisfaction.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and issue freight estimates for sea and air contra consolidations. Manage the full file process from A-Z (quotations, bookings, documentation, invoicing). Liaise with carriers, transporters, and overseas agents for rates and schedules. Ensure all estimates comply with Incoterms, customs regulations, and internal policies. Maintain updated rate sheets and negotiate tariffs where required. Track and monitor costs to ensure profitability and competitiveness. Communicate proactively with clients regarding pricing, options, and transit times. Requirements: 3+ years' experience in export\/import pricing or estimating within freight forwarding. Strong knowledge of sea and air freight consolidations. Proficiency in CargoWise or similar freight systems. Solid understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international trade procedures. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Personal Attributes: Commercially aware and clientâfocused. Proactive, solutionsâdriven, and able to work under pressure. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Organized, accountable, and collaborative.
