SUMMARY:
Assisting all departments with estimates.

POSITION INFO:

One of our clients in the Freight Forwarding industry is currently looking for an Estimator (all modals) to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

Job Description:

Liaise with overseas offices regarding ex works charges and rates.
Assist all departments with estimates.
Assist the Johannesburg sales team with any administrative issues they may require.
Accurately enter items that are not computer generated.
Ensure that all estimates are numbered and registered correctly.
Follow up with the clients whether they have accepted the estimates.
Liaise with the clients and the sales representative involved if and when the estimate has been accepted.
Provide the sales staff with leads when new clients request estimates.
Provide operations with the accepted estimate once the cargo has been moved and is ready to be invoiced.
Health and safety.
Adheres to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
Relevant qualifications
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience as an Estimator (air, road and sea freight)
