Our client, a leading financial services provider based in Claremont, Cape Town, is seeking an Exchange Control Consultant to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret SARB rulings, circulars, and regulatory updates
• Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams on Exchange Control requirements
• Prepare and manage SARB applications via authorised banking partners
• Conduct internal training sessions on Exchange Control processes
• Maintain detailed logs, workflows, and SOPs to ensure process continuity
• Liaise with bank Exchange Control desks and other stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen compliance and efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Exchange Control, Treasury, or Compliance within financial services or banking
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Finance / Economics / Compliance / Law preferred)
• Exposure to client-facing advisory work and SARB liaison advantageous
