Executive Commercial and Strategic Sourcing - Mining

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Executive Commercial and Strategic Sourcing /Major mining group based in Sandton. EE candidates only. Competitive salary plus participation in share and bonus schemes. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will develop and execute an inclusive procurement strategy for the Group. The position will have a strong focus on providing leadership, setting direction, compliance to all procurement targets and stakeholder engagement. They are seeking a B Com or a B Eng or a degree in Supply Chain Management, with at least 10 years relevant experience in supply chain and / or procurement with Metals and Mining industry with an in-depth understanding of PGM’s, Base Metals and energy commodities. Sound knowledge of inclusive procurement, strategic sourcing and enterprise- and supplier development as well as a good understanding of ESG, ESD and development drivers.
