Our client, a well-established vehicle / truck rental company is seeking an experienced Rental Sales Manager, to join their team in Durban – Western Suburbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Experienced Vehicle Rental Sales Manager

Introduction:

Our client, a well-established vehicle / truck rental company is seeking an experienced Rental Sales Manager, to join their team in Durban – Western Suburbs. The ideal Candidate would have exceptional:
Team Management skill (4 Rental Sales Consultants).
Leadership skills (Able to motivate and uplift the team).
Cold Calling skills (Able to maintain excellent relationship with excising clients and generate new clients).
Financial understanding / Skills.

Key Result Areas:

Sales and Gross profit targets.
Recruitment and development of the sales team.
Generation of New business.
Maintain relationships with clients.
Implementation of sales strategies.
Host daily sales “Get up and Go” meetings.
Management of daily sales activities.
Conduct market research.
Credit management.
Hosting clients at company events.
Action customer complaints and queries.
Ensure that HR practices and policies are adhered to.
Report on weekly successes.
Monitor website activity and ensure that social media and website marketing is constantly up to date.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Min 5 years’ sales management experience (previous experience in truck & vehicle rental would be an advantage).
Valid driver’s licence
Creative brand and marketing knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to interact at senior management level.
