Export Key Account Manager - Johannesburg Drive International Growth Across African Markets A leading organisation is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Export Key Account Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong sales professional with a proven track record who enjoys developing new business, managing key international relationships and expanding market presence across Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the international customer base, developing dealer networks and driving sales across targeted export markets, with regular local and international travel required. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell products, services and solutions to customers within the hospitality industry. Achieve sales targets and grow market share through strong customer service, marketing initiatives and relationship management. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing international customers and key accounts. Identify and secure new business opportunities and expand the international customer base. Establish and grow a dealer network across targeted African export markets. Coordinate export sales activities and operations in line with business objectives. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and solution-based engagements with customers and decision-makers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, market conditions and competitor activity. Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product, service and solution recommendations. Proactively manage customer queries and resolve service or product-related issues. Maintain accurate customer and account information on the corporate database. Represent and communicate the company's brand and market positioning effectively within target markets. Compile and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports. Adapt sales strategies to respond to changing market conditions and identify opportunities in both emerging and established markets. Travel locally and internationally as required to meet with customers and attend training and business meetings. Requirements Grade 12 \/ Matric or equivalent. Degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience. Proven sales track record, preferably within a B2B environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of African markets. Experience in export sales, international account management or developing dealer\/distributor networks will be highly advantageous. Valid driver's licence and own vehicle essential. Valid passport with the ability and willingness to travel internationally. Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Strong customer relationship and business development capabilities. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team. High level of professionalism, integrity and business acumen.
