POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Seek, identify, and prioritize new potential clients.
Generate and drive sales to achieve set budgets and targets across vertical markets.
Initiate, execute, and manage marketing campaigns with relevant business partners.
Provide sound technical and commercial support to customers and distributors.
Do presentations to customers, distributors, engineers, contractors, consultants, project developers, property developers, facility managers and internal staff on product and application information.
Assist in creating solutions for systems, pump stations, water, and wastewater treatment facilities utilizing the client Engineering and Product Support Structures where applicable.
Ensure that the most suitable quotations and/or offers are presented and communicated efficiently to customers and distributors.
Provide accurate, relevant, and up-to-date market and sales information.
Help with formulating strategies, setting budgets then driving execution as planned.
Update and manage CRM software (Salesforce) and information management tools.
Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and other team activities and
Submit regular reports as required by management.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Must be computer literate (MS Office).
Minimum a 3-year Engineering qualification.
Must be able to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations.
A minimum of 3 years'' technical sales experience in the engineering industry, some export sales experience would be an advantage.
Sound knowledge of applications and working of various pumps.
Comprehensive knowledge of the pumping industry is Mandatory.
Certification in client service or marketing will be advantageous.
Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel internationally sometimes extensively when necessary.

Skills & Competencies

Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
Communication in Portuguese coupled with some previous exposure to the Portuguese-speaking regional markets will be an advantage.
Must have technical sales and negotiation skills.
Sound knowledge in fluid-based technologies.
Sound knowledge of applications and working of various pumps.
Strong customer relations orientated with good problem-solving abilities.
Must be self-driven and motivated with the ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail.
Must be able to work against tight deadlines to achieve results.
Must be able to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing environment.

Experience in energy efficiency initiatives related to pumps and water systems will be advantageous.
