Exports Sales Representative - Angola & Mozambique

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Seek, identify, and prioritize new potential clients.
• Generate and drive sales to achieve set budgets and targets across vertical markets.
• Initiate, execute, and manage marketing campaigns with relevant business partners.
• Provide sound technical and commercial support to customers and distributors.
• Do presentations to customers, distributors, engineers, contractors, consultants, project developers, property developers, facility managers and internal staff on product and application information.
• Assist in creating solutions for systems, pump stations, water, and wastewater treatment facilities utilizing the client Engineering and Product Support Structures where applicable.
• Ensure that the most suitable quotations and/or offers are presented and communicated efficiently to customers and distributors.
• Provide accurate, relevant, and up-to-date market and sales information.
• Help with formulating strategies, setting budgets then driving execution as planned.
• Update and manage CRM software (Salesforce) and information management tools.
• Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and other team activities and

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must be computer literate (MS Office).
• Minimum a 3-year Engineering qualification.
• Must be able to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations.
• A minimum of 3 years'' technical sales experience in the engineering industry, some export sales experience would be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of applications and working of various pumps.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the pumping industry is Mandatory.
• Certification in client service or marketing will be advantageous.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel internationally sometimes extensively when necessary.

Skills & Competencies

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Communication in Portuguese coupled with some previous exposure to the Portuguese-speaking regional markets will be an advantage.
• Must have technical sales and negotiation skills.
• Sound knowledge in fluid-based technologies.
• Sound knowledge of applications and working of various pumps.
• Strong customer relations orientated with good problem-solving abilities.
• Must be self-driven and motivated with the ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work against tight deadlines to achieve results.
• Must be able to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing environment.

• Experience in energy efficiency initiatives related to pumps and water systems will be advantageous.
