Operating within the Cape Town region, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market share through a consultative, solution-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Territory Sales & Account Management: Secure new business accounts and proactively grow relationships with existing and prospective clients across the region. Technical Solution Selling: Analyze client needs, recommend tailored instrumentation products, and provide first-line technical support\/maintenance guidance. Quotation & Order Management: Collaborate with internal sales teams to deliver accurate quotes, conduct timely follow-ups, and track deliveries for optimal customer satisfaction. Call Planning & Reporting: Maintain daily CRM updates, prepare structured weekly call plans\/reports, and submit monthly sales reports and quarterly forecasts to the Sales Manager. Product Knowledge: Continuously expand technical expertise via e-Learning platforms and stay abreast of new product developments, upgrades, and market applications. Territory Travel Optimization: Efficiently plan client visits and travel schedules to maximize market coverage and minimize operational costs. Key Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Proven track record in external sales or field key account management within the process instrumentation, automation, or industrial engineering sectors. Regional Knowledge: Strong established networks and client experience within the Cape Town and broader Western Cape industrial market. Technical Aptitude: Ability to read client specifications, understand process applications, and select best-fit instrumentation products. Self-Motivated & Structured: Exceptional organizational skills with high CRM hygiene and disciplined reporting habits. Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
