Join a wellâestablished organisation specialising in industrial automation, process control, and electrical engineering solutions. Based in Gauteng, this role offers excellent career growth within a fastâmoving, innovationâfocused environment. As an Industrial Automation Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving new business development, maintaining client relationships, and offering tailored automation solutions to manufacturing, processing, and industrial clients. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate solution design while managing the full sales cycle from technical assessments to closing deals.

Education:

Minimum Electrical Trade Test, OR
Electrical Engineering Diploma (Process Control or Instrumentation)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales within industrial automation, electrical control systems, or related engineering environments
Strong understanding of PLC systems, SCADA, VSDs, instrumentation, and electrical control panels
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and automation schematics
Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and clientârelationship skills
Valid driver’s license + willingness to travel to client sites
Ability to assess client requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions
Strong technical troubleshooting and solutionâselling ability (advantageous)
