POSITION INFO:

Duties include:

Generate business from new and existing customers while developing strong and healthy business relationships.
Direct selling to customers and generating new sales leads.
Visiting assigned customers according to planned calling schedules.
Preparing budgets, estimated potential and planned profitability per customer.
Actively promoting the sales of products to existing customers and researching new market opportunities.
Prepare and present with Power Point presentations
Obtain enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up to conclusion.
Develop leads on other Manufacturing Products
Maintain an updated customer data base.
Obtain information on competitors’ products, pricing policies and business strategies

Qualifications and Experience

Matric
Experience in Electric Motor, Automation and Control Gear and Related Products.
Formal electrical qualification – recognised apprenticeship / related diploma or at least 10 years sales experience.
Good level of computer literacy, specifically MS. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Good negotiating and presentation skills.
Drivers licence.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communication and making presentations.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
A sense of urgency with a strong customer service orientation.
Willingness and freedom to travel extensively, including frequent overnight stays away from home base.
Living in relatively close proximity to the Steelpoort, Burgersfort and Polokwane area is a must
