JOB SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company in the construction industry has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated External Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will cover the client base in the Western Cape area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for selling products and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential sales outlets
Must ensure that the customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase
To retain all existing clients
To do cost benefit analysis of existing and protentional clients
Must maintain a positive business relationship with clients to ensure future sales
Promote marketing as and when needed
Visiting of sites and after sales care
Compiling project specifications
Handle customer complaints
Conduct product training to all new and existing clients

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Tiling industry experience
Previous building and / construction industry exposure
Tile merchants, hardware stores, building supply merchants knowledge
At least 5 years of sales experience in the industry
Excellent communication skills
Good mathematical and writing skills
Ability to function independently and without supervision
Must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Must have own reliable transport
