Our client in the automotive aftermarket industry is seeking to employ an External Sales Representative to join their team, servicing customers across North West, Northern Cape and Free State.

Requirements: Matric (non-negotiable) Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive aftermarket or automotive parts sales Wholesale or retail replacement parts sales experience preferred Experience or knowledge of automotive mobile (moving) air-conditioning systems Technical motor vehicle air-conditioning understanding and product knowledge preferred Automotive parts product knowledge Strong technical aptitude Business acumen Industry knowledge with existing customer networks advantageous Excellent communication and customer service skills Good mathematical numeracy Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to perform well under pressure Accountable, driven, and results-oriented Problem-solving ability with a team-player mindset Responsibilities: Drive profitable revenue growth by managing and growing an allocated customer base Achieve revenue and margin targets through disciplined sales execution Identify and recommend products or services based on customer and market needs Follow up on sales leads generated by Internal Sales and external sources Develop and grow new COD customer accounts Generate quotations, sales orders, and invoices, ensuring timely follow-up Identify opportunities to introduce new products and product ranges Recommend products based on customer requirements and stock availability Conduct regular customer visits according to the planned call cycle using the 80\/20 principle Build and maintain strong customer relationships Train customers on product application and usage or coordinate supplier\/in-house training Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company policies Grow active customer accounts through consistent customer engagement Measure of Success: Achievement of revenue and margin targets Growth in active customer accounts Quality and consistency of customer engagement Accuracy, compliance, and reporting discipline Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager Please note that if you do not receive a response within 2 weeks of the closing date, your application has been unsuccessful.
