External Sales for GLS and components

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading specialists within the field of internal logistics.

looking for: An energetic External Sales Representative.

As the external sales representative you will be working within the target markets of food and beverage, distribution, courier express parcel, airport logistics and industry, selling core products that include Lifetime Services and components.

Meeting an agreed sales budget
Identifying new customers and sales opportunities
Introducing, offering advice and securing orders that fulfil the customers exact needs
Visiting and promoting
Application consultancy appropriate to the industry

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Matric PLUS an education in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
5 years professional sales experience with a focus in technical sales (spares)
Experience in having worked for an international company, one involved in packaging, automation or similar industry would be an advantage
High level of computer literacy in typical MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
Drivers Licence and valid passport (no restrictions)
Experience in administration, ability to operate at a good level on MS Office products.
Must be a proficient in English for both written and verbal
Technically hands on
Be able to work from time to time outside typical working hours
Must be able to travel nationally and internationally for training.
