KAM / Online / eCommerce Manager – Electronic Portfolio

My client, a specialist in the retail and merchandising field, is seeking a talented, entrepreneurial Key Account Manager who will be responsible for some of our key accounts and driving the relationship and subsequent sales.

The main responsibility will be strengthening customer relationships and increasing the sales figures monthly to grow accounts.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in producing high turnover growth of an ecommerce account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a solid relationship between major key accounts and Company
  • Resolving key account issues and complaints
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
  • Managing communications between the buyers and internal teams
  • Strategic planning to improve account results (growth & sales)
  • Negotiate deals with account managers and use out of the box thinking to give unique combinations of products to offer creative deals
  • Working with logistic managers, merchandising, warehousing, and other support teams
  • Strategise how to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling to accounts
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analysing account data to provide the best relationship management
  • Expanding relationships and onboarding new accounts
  • Maintaining all account documentation and cohesive, up-to-date files, so as to have accurate, relevant, and readily available account focused data at all times

 

Requirements:

  • Min of 4 years of practical experience in online sales and digital marketing
  • Proven experience in Key Account Management
  • Proven experience in deal negotiations and deal pricing calculations
  • An ingrained ability to create deals and sell to accounts
  • Out-the-box thinking with a very hands-on attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must take initiative and drive portfolio and hit the ground running
  • An intelligent individual with a great work ethic
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • A creative, quality-minded individual with a focus on getting the job done
  • Team player with a willingness to learn
