FACTORY MANAGER / ENGINEER - FMCG (SOMERSET WEST)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a reputable FMCG manufacturing company, seeks an experienced and astute Factory Manager to oversee their production operations and drive operational excellence. As the Factory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the manufacturing plant, maintaining high-quality standards, and achieving production targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Industrial Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
• Matric with Mathematics
• Relevant experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry (3-5 years)
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration and food processing plants is a plus
• Familiarity with programming PLC's and inverters is an advantage
• Experience with high-capacity 3Ph motors is a plus
• Mechanical service experience is desirable
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, switchgear, and water treatment is beneficial
• Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends
• Preference for residing in the Helderberg/Stellenbosch areas
