SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced and established FAIS Compliance Officer/Senior Business Advisor with exposure to the International Financial Services industry and a solid track record in risk and regulatory matters?

POSITION INFO:

My client, international bank with over 150 years in the banking sector, is currenting looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Compliance Officer for their Compliance Department. The successful contender would be an individual who is well-versed in compliance monitoring and reporting, POPI information and has sound judgment. Duties:

Managing regulatory and compliance risks
Developing and maintaining an internal control framework.
Manage regulatory relationships.
Reviewing FAIS and POPI non-group policies
Establish and maintain internal stakeholder relations
Maintaining compliance risk management plans

Education:

BCom degree or similar
RE 1 Cat; 1 FAIS exam and registered FAIS Compliance Officer

Experience:

5 – 7 years’ experience in a similar position
Compliance within international organizations

Skills:

Efficient computer literacy skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Established relationships with external regulatory bodies
Motivated, energetic, confident and assertive
Team collaborator
