FINANCE CLERK (6 month contract)

• Customer invoice processing
• Cash book update for customer receipts
• Raising of pro-forma invoices for cash upfront customers, ensuring the funds are received prior to vessel loading and communicating with operations staff.
• Debtors collection and following up on outstanding balances
• Processing of GRN and supplier invoices
• Processing of supplier payments
• Ensure that all invoices are supported by approved PR & POs with the correct approvers and approval limits
• Capex payments agreed to signed recons
• Customer and Vendor upload on Accpacc (i.e., Accounting System)
• Data store upload and updates
• B-BBEE online toolkit management and B-BBEE reporting
• Submission and follow up on monthly exception reports (i.e., Expired BEE certificates and Debtor Masterfile amendments)
• Petty Cash administration and Reconciliations
• Sustainability inputs: diesel + petrol + electricity and water
• Manage credit committee reporting
• Assess whether NIL book value assets are still in use
• Fixed Assets Tagging
• WIP Capex Projects reconciliation

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• 3-year accounting related diploma/degree
• 3 years relevant experience
• Accpacc knowledge
• Advanced Excel Knowledge
• Analytical skills
• Effective communicator at all levels
• Acting decisively when tough or quick action is required
