JOB SUMMARY:
Kenilworth area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant for a maternity cover contract to assist with financial processes and financial reporting.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Com or relevant qualification
Computer skills – Excel, Outlook, Word
Extensive experience in financial processing
Experience in preparation of management accounts
Good communication skills
Good presentation skills
Ability to liaise with management, customers and suppliers
Self-starter, deadline driven and reliable
Be able to work in a team environment
Ability to work independently
Can work under pressure
Accurate and meticulous
Ability to solve problems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with processing of various journals
Performance of balance sheet reconciliations
Cashbook management for head office entities
Debtors/Creditors processing
Assist with month end system processes
Assist subsidiary / intercompany with queries as they arise
Intercompany processing, payment, and query resolution
Assist with internal and external auditor queries
Online bank verifier and checker
Assist with monthly management accounts and bi-annual statutory accounts
Backup petty cash issuer and creditors recon reviewer
Obtaining forex deals and daily cash flow reviews
Assist financial managers and finance controller, as require
