SUMMARY:
A high-performing, fast-paced organisation is looking for a hands-on Group Financial Accountant to take ownership of the full reporting function across multiple entities within a dynamic shared services environment.
This is not a “reporting-only” role — you will be deep in the detail, driving accuracy, control, and delivery across the finance function.

POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Full balance sheet ownership across multiple entities
Preparation and review of audit packs and AFS
Monthly management accounts and reporting deadlines
Journals, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
Tax, VAT, and statutory compliance
Budgeting and forecasting support
BEE and secretarial exposure
Oversight of AR/AP and shared services processes
Driving process improvements, controls, and efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

BCom / BCompt (CA(SA) / SAIPA / CIMA advantageous)
3–6 years’ experience in a group or multi-entity environment
Strong balance sheet and reporting experience (non-negotiable)
Proven audit and tax exposure
Experience working in a shared services / high-volume environment
Hands-on, detail-driven, and deadline-focused
Ability to operate in a high-pressure, delivery-driven environment

Non-Negotiables

You have personally owned the full finance function or key reporting areas
You are not purely operational OR purely reporting — you can do both
You are comfortable being hands-on in journals, recons, and reporting
You have worked in a structured, deadline-driven environment
