JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the agricultural sector and based in Ceres, has a vacancy for a divisional Accountant/ Financial Manager. Reporting to the General Manager the job incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the full financial function
Preparations for annual audit
Statutory compliance
Customs & Excise
Debtors & creditors management
Management reports
Financial analysis
Budget management
Salary and wage administration
Bank liaison

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting
Completed SAICA, CIMA or SAIPA articles
Qualified Chartered Accountant / CA will be a distinct advantage.
Approximately 3 years’ relevant experience
Experience in the import & export of fruit will be advantageous
