POSITION INFO:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a luxury 4-star beach hotel set on the iconic Blouberg beachfront, is seeking a FIT Reservations Consultant to join their team.
The successful candidate will be detail-orientated, guest-focused, and experienced in handling FIT reservations with accuracy and professionalism. This role requires a balance of administrative precision and warm guest communication to ensure a seamless booking journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle all FIT reservations accurately and efficiently
Capture bookings on Opera and maintain updated guest records
Upload guest requirements into the preference planner
Send quotes and confirmations to guests via email
Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
Upsell rooms, packages, and hotel facilities to maximize revenue
Work closely with the Front Office and Sales teams for smooth operations
Maintain excellent guest communication and ensure requests are actioned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2–3 years’ experience in a FIT Reservations role
Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite essential
Strong knowledge of FIT reservations and booking processes
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong sales mindset with proven upselling ability
Grade 12 (Matric) required; Hotel School qualification advantageous
Professional, well-groomed, and guest-focused approach
