POSITION INFO:

FMCG Accountant (JB677)

Location: Randburg, Johannesburg

Salary: R40 –----- (Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience)

Duration: Three month fixed term contract with possibility of permanent employment

Fresh and frozen food supplier is actively seeking an Accountant to join their organisation as an immediate start. This role would require a candidate with a minim of a financial degree.

Duties:

Provide financial information to management by analysing accounting data and preparing reports

Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Preparing and maintaining important financial reports

Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time

Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently

Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization

Conducting forecasting and risk analysis assessments

Minimum requirements:

Accounting Degree

Previous experience using Syspro

3 – 5 years experience in a similar role

Business acumen with excellent analytical ability
