Position Overview: The role will be based in Gauteng and requires a resource with at least 3 years of experience in FMCG retail sales, especially in dealing with large nationals. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing and sales personality, as the role involves maintaining excellent relations with clients, as well as on-the-ground relationship development and management, which necessitates regular travel. The company provides all the tools necessary to fulfil your functions adequately, as well as reimbursement for travel at the relevant company rate per km travelled with your own vehicle.

The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the FMCG RETAIL industry.

A leading dairy company seeks a driven FMCG RETAIL sales representative. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in FMCG RETAIL sales, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to managing relationships with industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage key accounts and achieve sales targets
Regular client visits, cold calling, and pricing negotiation
Assist with marketing activities and customer stock management
Coordinate orders with the Johannesburg depot
Travel to maintain customer relationships

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years in sales (preferably dairy)
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
Valid driverâs license, own car and willingness to travel
Proficient in Microsoft Office
