POSITION INFO:
Our client, a Johannesburg Northâbased organisation, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to strengthen its finance team. The role focuses on performance management, forecasting, and business partnering, working closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams. You’ll be exposed to key decisionâmaking forums, gain visibility across the business, and contribute to planning and growth initiatives. This is a role that rewards initiative, problemâsolving, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Analyse monthly results and identify performance drivers
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and insight packs for management
- Develop financial models to support strategic and operational decisions
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial performance
- Support adâhoc analysis and scenario modelling
- Maintain data accuracy and reporting consistency
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BCom / BAcc or equivalent Finance qualification
- CA(SA) or CIMA beneficial but not essential
- 2+ years’ experience in FP&A, finance analysis, or management accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical ability
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Strong problemâsolving and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fastâmoving environment
