Minimum Requirements

Must have :

Chemical Plant Operator NQF Level 4 Qualification (SAQA ID: 102156)
SAMTRAC

Relevant Experience (Years):

2 years’ experience in the chemical manufacturing process industry
5 years of experience as a facilitator and trainer
5 years plus experience as an assessor for a number of qualifications. Registered assessor for Chieta and merSETA legacy qualifications

Program Requirements

Must have worked as chemical plant operator and in processing plants processing fertilisers and pesticides
Must have developed competence in chemical process operations that required general, chemical-specific technical and other knowledge, and have been involved in testing and sampling activities
Must have expertise in operating production equipment and controlling a chemical process
Must understand and have applied the legislation applicable to a chemical manufacturing environment
