POSITION INFO:

A leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager to oversee daily operations, production efficiency, and team performance in a fast-paced factory environment. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and a track record of managing teams within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full factory operations, including production, quality, and dispatch

• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met efficiently and cost-effectively

• Monitor equipment, processes, and workflows to improve productivity

• Lead, train, and supervise production staff and supervisors

• Enforce health & safety and food safety compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.)

• Coordinate with other departments such as QA, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR

• Maintain accurate reporting on production performance, stock levels, and KPIs

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) + relevant diploma/degree in Production Management, Engineering, or similar

• Minimum 5 years'' experience in a Factory Manager or Production Manager role within FMCG

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality controls, and health & safety standards

• Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and team management abilities

• Willing to work extended hours and weekends when required
