JOB DESCRIPTION:

A growing enterprise in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is looking for a results-driven Factory Manager to join their team in Tanzania. The role requires a strong leader who will be responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement of production operations, as well as maintenance of production facilities. Optimal efficiency, quality, and profitability will be the key outputs. This company values an entrepreneurial spirit and honesty. The role will include duties such as:

Tactically achieve functional and strategic objectives
Long-term business planning
Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules
Cost-effective, timely production
Implementing quality-control programs
Developing systems and processes that track and optimise productivity and standards
Leading maintenance and good manufacturing processes across sites
Setting continuous business development plans to improve facility operations
Optimize process and equipment maintenance spending to minimize downtime and enhance product output
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for personal and facility safety
Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

BCom degree
10 or more years’ experience in the FMCG, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
