SUMMARY:
National manufacturer in the clothing sector is looking for an experienced Factory Operations Manager to join their team in the Upper Highway Area.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and responsibilities:

Production plan for factory floor on daily basis liasing with key personnel and sales staff
Establish and monitor manufactured ready targets.
Manage and oversee all production according to production plan and delivery schedule.
Ensure maximum efficiency by assessing operations and adjusting where necessary.
Oversee and manage machine operators.
Oversee cutting room and outwork flow.
Manage all production floor staff - presently 18
Oversee quality and control according to ISO 9001: 2015
Daily Reporting to Management using excel
Overseeing stock management system

Qualifications, experience and skills:

Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role in clothing manufacture (CMT).
Excellent understanding of production processes, lead times, and deadlines.
Technical knowledge of sewing machines and operations.
Ability to manage and improve efficiencies where possible.
Leadership and staff management.
Problem solving and decision making.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication.
Ability to work on own’s initiative
