We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Farm Manager to oversee the agricultural operations of a leading FMCG company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong hands-on management skills to ensure high-yield, sustainable production that supports our fast-paced supply chain.
About the Role
You will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimising all farming activities – from planting to harvest – while ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Working closely with the supply chain, production, and quality teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring consistent, top-quality produce for processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily farming operations, including planting, irrigation, fertilisation, and harvesting
- Implementing and overseeing crop production plans to meet FMCG supply needs
- Monitoring soil health, crop performance, and implementing sustainable practices
- Managing farm budgets, resources, and procurement of equipment and supplies
- Leading and motivating farm workers, supervisors, and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with agricultural, environmental, and food safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on yields, costs, and productivity
Requirements- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ farm management experience (FMCG/agri-processing environment preferred)
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Knowledge of modern farming techniques, irrigation systems, and crop protection
- Budget management and strong organisational ability
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
