Role: Fiduciary Partner Category: Fiduciary Location: Sandton Salary: Market-related Our client is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Fiduciary Partner to join their team . In this role, you will implement and administer estate planning solutions for high-net-worth clients, provide expert guidance on local and offshore trust structures, act as a professional representative trustee, and assist with deceased estate reporting . Key Responsibilities: Protect institutional integrity by delivering consistent, professional client service and building long-lasting relationships . Partner with Wealth Advisors on business development initiatives, proposals, and client onboarding . Provide expert advice on fiduciary, tax, estate planning, and local\/offshore structuring matters . Schedule and conduct professional client consultations and annual trustee meetings . Accurately draft fiduciary documentation, including Wills, trust deeds, reports, resolutions, agreements, and estate reporting documents . Perform estate duty and relevant fiduciary calculations . Oversee trust administration and ensure full compliance with governing legislation, local regulations (Master of the High Court, SARS, FICA, FAIS, POPIA, FATCA, exchange control), and corporate governance . Liaise with deceased estate teams, heirs, and advisors on progress and administration . Identify cross-selling and business growth opportunities while ensuring practice commerciality . Mentor and guide junior team members on technical and operational best practices . Collaborate with internal forums to assess advice risk, contribute to house views, and present solutions . Write articles, present updates, and stay ahead of market trends and legislative changes . Requirements: Education: BA\/BComm LLB or equivalent legal qualification . Advantageous: Formal tax qualification, CFP designation, or deep knowledge of trust and estate taxes . Experience: Preferably an admitted attorney with 10+ years of post-articles experience in the fiduciary industry . Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages with a strong capability to adopt technical software platforms . Languages: Bi-lingual skills (English and Afrikaans) preferred . Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of estate planning, trust administration, deceased estates, and local\/international fiduciary compliance . Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional written\/verbal skills with strong drafting ability and diplomatic relationship management . Work Ethic & Mindset: Highly self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing under pressure .
