SUMMARY:
A leading global electronics and HVAC solutions company is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Engineer to join its ES Sales Team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Trade Test qualification. 3-5 years' post-sales experience within the HVAC industry . Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems , including: VRF systems Split units Installation and commissioning Fault finding and troubleshooting Solid understanding of: Pressure-Enthalpy charts Psychrometric charts Refrigeration cycle analysis using manual gauges and software Good knowledge of electrical components and their operation. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD and\/or Revit will be advantageous. Own vehicle is a must Key Responsibilities Conduct visual inspections and spot commissioning of HVAC installations. Verify installations against system selection reports and engineering drawings. Commission and start up HVAC systems. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions. Ensure installations comply with company quality and engineering standards. Train contractors and installers on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service. Complete commissioning reports and update internal systems accurately. Prepare technical reports and presentations highlighting recurring site issues and improvement opportunities. Travel Requirements Approximately 80% field-based and 20% office-based . Regular travel to customer sites across South Africa . Minimum of three nights away from home on an ad hoc basis. Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally when required.
