Field Services Engineer

SUMMARY:
This international organisation requires an experienced Sales Engineer with a BSc, BTech or Mech Engineering qualification. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the water treatment industry is essential, preferably including RO applications. Must have strong communication and customer services skills.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• A BSc or BTech Process or Mechanical Engineering Qualification is essential.
• Must have at least 3 to 5 years’ water-treatment experience, preferably with RO applications.
• Ideally have market-related experience ie (Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Industrial).
• An understanding or knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment & pre-treatment technologies would be preferable.
• Good verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
• Must possess the ability to manage and develop business activity, both within the sales and customer environment.
• Must understand fundamental contractual issues, with business and commercial skills.
• Computer literacy specific to MS Office, Excel, Word,  PowerPoint and Google Bouquet.
• Must be persuasive, confident and assertive as well as self-reliant and persistent.

• Call on key personnel at customers in the area to promote the sale of company products
• Establish business and social relationships with customers and prospects
• Provide  customers  with  sales  and  service  experience,  and expert  application techniques to ensure customer satisfaction by doing surveys
• Call on customer facilities and implement practical applications of products and services through an understanding of the customers'' plant and financial operating costs.
• Responsible for the sales and technical services of the company products.
• Control personal and/or internal service dept requirements to meet customer needs
• Ensure financial control for client accounts ie payments, invoices
• Responsible for sales campaigns, field tests and ensuring customer reviews are completed
• Work with existing customers to find new applications
• Complete all Reports
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals
• Handle all customer negotiations
• Working with the rest of the team to improve company effectiveness, service and profitability through high-quality standards
• Plan strategies to ensure quality standards
• Support the company commitment to continually improve SHE standards according to the latest ISO 9001 requirements
• Maintain company Safety Standards
